Everyone is an unmitigated failure.

And then success comes, or it doesn’t. When I was still an unpublished author, I wrote a long story about an average fellow wandering through his relentlessly unremarkable life.  His world wasn’t particularly different from mine, ecept for being set in some down-the-road future. The plot was minimal, the sf ideas scarse.  Yet something about the narrative….

I have not even listened to the podcast yet. I just want to tell you guys how happy I am that you are still here, I was thinking that you had stopped doing podcasts. I have been checking your site twice a week for two months. I am going to download the program now.

    Welcome back!!!!

Great story, an interesting twist on the time travel tale.

At first I found the narration a bit annoying, but then thought it fit the speaker of the story pretty well. The audio editing needs some work, though, I kept getting pulled out of the narrative by a misplaced cut, missed repetition, or jarring change of pitch.

Also funny to see a story in which the pixel-stained technopeasants are the villains, depriving hard-working clairvoyants of their job.

You guys need to get good consistent narrators. That should be the priority when doing a story in audio, no? Just trying to be helpful, it seems to be the main issue with this podcast, but I still give it a shot week to week.

    I agree with L33 and J.
The story selection has been fantastic.
    Thanks!
The intros and outros have been well thought out and interesting…a bit personal, but that is a style choice.
As an audio podcast, the main consideration must be audio quality.
This story came across as a first read-through, and not a very good one at that.
I ask the editor of this podcast to get tough.
This should never have made the air in this condition.
Looking forward to the superior narration that your superior choices require.
